Official statement from MYOX concerning the confusion with the MyoFX brand of electrostimulation suits.

Dear customers, colleagues and friends, my name is Juan Peris and as director and head of MYOX, I have deemed it necessary to issue the following statement:

MYOX is a brand that has been working for years in the field of muscular electro-stimulation, even more so if we add to all the work done by Neokinesis, its previous name or “mother brand”, in fact if we add all the professional experience that I have in the field of electro-stimulation, we are talking about 22 years.

The effort, the illusion and the constancy have taken our brand MYOX to many corners of the world and we have always been able to work with complete peace of mind, but after the appearance of the brand Myofx we are receiving continuous samples that the obvious similarity of brands, in a common sector and public, are generating a worrying confusion.

Already many customers claim to have bought a Myofx electrostimulation vest thinking it was a product developed by us, by MYOX. In fact they claim that the reason for their purchase was “the confidence they have in the rigour of our brand“. On this matter it only remains for me to convey to you that I very much regret this situation of clear confusion or association.

 

“We would like to convey our apologies to you for the confusion that is occurring in the national and international market with the Myofx brand of muscular electrostimulation suits, we are the first to regret that this situation is occurring”.

 

“I WISH TO CLARIFY THAT WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH MYOFX, there is no professional, commercial or personal relationship with this brand of muscular electrostimulation vests. We would also like to make it clear that when the Myofx brand appeared on the market, our MYOX brand already had years of experience and significant international prestige and recognition. In fact, since our brand existed before that time, we are entitled to ownership, use and protection rights which are recognised by law”.

After many years of work, effort and enthusiasm to do serious and honest work, MYOX is today an international reference brand in the field of muscular electrostimulation. Many professionals, athletes, companies, clinics and also different brands of muscular electro-stimulation are asking for our collaboration and advice. But I must point out again, that no business relationship exists or has existed with Myofx or its owners.

 

We are sorry for any inconvenience that the confusion generated in the market may have caused, but we have already taken the appropriate measures.

 

The ruling by the European Patent and Trademark Office is final: “Myofx is hereby cancelled as a trademark“. I am providing here the image obtained from the official website of the European Patent and Trademark Office, where you can see that Myofx has the status of “registration cancelled“, i.e. this trademark has been cancelled and therefore its representatives must cease to use it and withdraw it from the market immediately.
